Dogs and puppies

We raise 2 breeds of dogs, the Golden Retriever and the Border collie, all of which were bought to be family pets. You see we have 4 children, three of which needed their very own dog to train and show in 4-H.... AFTER we already had a pair of Golden Retrievers. It's a lot of dogs, but the 3 girls enjoy training their very own dogs so much.

 

Puppies for sale

We have regestered Border Collie and Golden Retriever puppies borns every year. Check below to see when they are avalible, and watch them grow up! We let our puppies go to their new homes at 6 weeks old, which when they are weaned off and start on puppy food. Price $400.

Golden Retriever puppies

Currently, we have no Golden puppies.  We just sold our June litter in late August, so check back next summer! The photo gallery contains pictures from our most recent litter. Aren't they cuties! All of our Golden Retrievers are AKC regestered.

Border Collie puppies

Family Golden Retrievers

We decided if we were going to have dogs, we should pick breeds which would make the best family pets.  We first picked the Golden Retriever,and they truly are the sweetest, gentlest dog we've ever been around.  Clara and Clancy, both 8 years old, are the parents to numerous AKC puppies. Since they both are getting so old, we have retired them and given the puppy-making job to Abby, and their son, CJ.  Clancy and Clara are the darkest of the Golden Retrievers. 

Abby, our cream colored Retriever, has been Mama to 5 litters of puppies. She is a very obedient dog who just loves to have fun. Abby has been in several 4-H dog shows, and even won first place in one of them! Clancy will be the grandfather to all of her future litters do to his old age, and his son CJ is taking his place as stud dog. Since Abby is so light, and CJ is dark like his mother Clara, offsprings have a large variety of shades to chose from. CJ is off-site, owned by a family friend.

This is CJ, who is the father to all of our recent and future Golden puppies. He is also the son to our elder dogs, Clancy and Clara. CJ is owned by a family friend so he will not be on-site when you come to see the puppies.

Border Collies

Missy, our 4 year old female Border Collie, has given birth to four litters of puppies thus far. She has been an excellent mother!  It's no suprise that she is the smartest dog we own, Border Collies are ranked the smartest breed in the world!. When we brought her home at 6 weeks old, she learned how to sit and heel on command after just one day.  Missy is excellent with all the farm animals and will sometimes herd them for us.

MacGyver is our 4 year old male Border Collie, and he is a natural herding dog! All day long he enjoys staring and barking at the goats and emus through the fence, he never takes his eyes off them. He shows the strongest Border Collie instinct between the two collies.
